STEAM HOLIDAY PROGRAMS (Australia)

Deep Ocean Exploration STEAM Holiday Program

Kids delve into the deep ocean in a high-tech submarine to explore the wonderful and mysterious ocean. Inspired by the incredible technology that is advancing ocean exploration, animal conservation, and energy generation. Through our program, kids find out how deep is the ocean, explore what deep ocean creatures are hiding at the most solitary place on earth and whether underwater turbines can solve energy problems in the world. At the end of the program, children will use the skills they have gained through coding and robotics to create a final project relevant to deep ocean exploration as their final presentation. PIEX fosters knowledge, skills, and capacities and develops integrated strategies towards critical and creative thinking. Educate At PIEX, we foster the next generation of lifelong learners who are knowledgeable, have the strength of character, a sense of community, and drive to impact the contemporary world.

Automation through Artificial Intelligent STEAM Holiday Program

In today’s society, we are surrounded by technology that performs tasks or operates equipment with minimal human intervention. In this program, we will be exploring how to make our lives more efficient through automation. As artificial intelligence and robotics technology play an increasingly vital role in the growth of our economy and daily lives, it is important to keep the kids up-to-date with the latest technology in the world. Children will learn about how windmills are made and used in today’s advancing technology, robots taking over mass production of autonomous cars and public transports. We will explore the advantages and disadvantages of automation through hypotheses and experiments as they imitate artisans/specialists and reenact factory lines to perform tasks. Through these activities, students are able to simulate processes and test efficiency through collaboration and scientific methods.
